Short version: we collect what we need to quote and run your booking, we store it in Australia, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

When you send a booking enquiry we collect your name, email address and phone number, and the details of the trip: date, pick up time, pick up address, destination, number of passengers, occasion, age group, whether you need a return trip, how you heard about us, and anything you write in the message box.

If you phone us instead, we collect whatever you tell us on the call.

Why we collect it

To price your trip, check the bus is free on your date, plan the route, and contact you about the booking. That is all. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not send marketing.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored in a Supabase database hosted in Sydney, Australia. The website is hosted by Vercel. Notification emails are sent through Resend, on its Tokyo servers, because Resend does not offer an Australian region. That means a copy of your enquiry leaves the country inside the notification email, even though the record itself stays here. Those three providers process your details only so that this site can work.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiling or third-party marketing pixels on this site. The old site loaded Google reCAPTCHA on its booking form; this one does not.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than the providers above. We do not sell, rent or trade your details. We would only ever disclose them if the law required it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while we are quoting, and then for as long as we need them for our records, tax obligations and any dispute about a booking. After that they are deleted.

To confirm with Mick: A specific retention period, in months or years, so this section can state a number instead of a description.

Seeing or deleting your details

Email bingo.d@icloud.com or call 0407 08 28 54 and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct anything wrong, or delete it. We may need to keep records of a completed booking for tax purposes even after a deletion request, and we will say so if that applies.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking cookies and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Complaints and changes

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, contact us first and we will try to fix it. You can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page.
